Will the lips look natural?
Yes, when your facial proportions are respected and we start conservatively. Where more volume is wanted, we prefer building it over two sessions rather than overfilling in one.
How long do lips stay swollen after filler?
Swelling is most noticeable in the first two days and settles over the following days. That is why the final shape is judged only after about two weeks.
How long before an event should I have it done?
Leave at least two weeks before an important event so that swelling and any possible bruising have fully resolved.
Is it painful?
Lips are sensitive, so numbing cream is used and most fillers contain a local anaesthetic. Most patients describe it as clearly tolerable.
